Sea fishing?
I am going sea fishing off of sandbanks (shore) and i was wondering what pound line I should use????? Any help????
I’d go with a braided line probably about 30# – braided because it won’t get torn up on any rocks or debris in the water. Today’s braided line is tough and has a small diameter.. BERKLEY FIRELINE is excellent – I use 100# from a boat and it’s the same diameter as 30# line.

Here is a chart – Cabelas is very reasonable on pricing….you can see how 30# braided line is just as thick as 12# monofilment so it’s easy to handle and strong….
