Strategies For Effective Learning: Implications for Better Faculty Development by Dr Deryck D. Pattron
Abstract
Programme delivery strategies are important tools in effective teaching and learning. Knowing which delivery strategy to use is often a daunting task to the inexperienced faculty as well as a challenge to experienced faculty. Critical review and self-reflection on strategies conducted over a period of fifteen years revealed that integrative programme delivery strategies are far superior to the other methods that vastly improve teaching and learning outcomes. The effectiveness of the various strategies is discussed.
